Nicely Said
I don't need to write a post today. My good friend Mark, at 'Under the Radar,' has said it for me in his post called Life at the Margins. It's a very good read.
"Nicely said" and then some! That post had more common sense to it than most "success" stuff I've ever read, the most refreshing thing being the absence of rose-in-teeth cliches about "PMA, Positive Mental Attitude, boy...Ya gotta sugar-coat the bullcrap of life and make it go down sweeter, ya listenin', dammit!?" Anyone with half a brain that wasn't born yesterday knows that - at most - that's only the smallest part of the tip of the iceberg.

Very well said indeed. It's the best explanation of "luck favours the well prepared" that I have ever read! :) Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteI believe that this quote sums up his post nicely
ReplyDeleteI'm a great believer in luck and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.
Thomas Jefferson
When I have applied and stuck with it, I found my "luck" or access to opportunity grew.
He put it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI was happy to have read it, this morning. Thank-you for sharing!
